Blood, sweat, toil, tears, uphills and downhills and grease and gears: this is the stuff hardtail dreams are made of. The Avalanche is one of the longest-running GT models and is jam-packed with features. It starts with a high-end aluminum frame with a performance geometry, a tapered headtube that stiffens the front end for improved handling, and eyelets for mounting a rear rack. A 100mm Suntour suspension fork soaks up bumps for a smooth ride, while a Shimano drivetrain offers reliable shifting. Hydraulic disc brakes keep you in control no matter the conditions, and WTB Transition tires have plenty of grip for varying terrain. The Avalanche: purpose-engineered for the mountain.
