Versatility—that's what's always made our progressive trail bikes popular. These are bikes that are as at home blasting down trails alongside long-travel, full-suspension bikes as they are surfing mellow sections of singletrack. The Sync'r is our top-of-the-line, do-it-all aluminum hardtail. The heart of the bike is a low-slung frame that's both playful and confident. We've hung the Sync'r chassis with equally stellar components that include a RockShox Recon RL suspension fork with 140mm of travel, a Race Face/Shimano SLX single-ring drivetrain that's free of clutter and bangs off precise shifts under pressure, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and our own Diamondback AL35 tubeless-compatible wheelset.

Wider than standard yet narrower than fat, plus-size rims and tires hit the sweet spot in grip, stability, and speed, giving you more confidence on technical terrain. Compared to a standard tire you’ll feel grip in places you wouldn’t expect thanks to a bigger contact patch and greater rollover clearance. More air volume allows lower tire pressures which softens bumps and increases float on sand or snow. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the benefits of plus-size tires and rims will amplify your mountain biking fun.
